Our Mission

Our mission is to cheerfully serve both our fellow ministries and the surrounding community, by showing hospitality in all we do. To be approachable and friendly people, welcoming and helpful. To strive towards service excellence, and create the WOW factor. To offer a competitive product and service to the surrounding community, with the added touch of being a blessing. As said in Hebrews 13:2 – “Do not neglect to show Hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares”.

Our Vision

We want to be a venue of choice, offering both corporate and ministerial hospitality support. To grow our product offering for conferencing, ceremonies and wedding receptions. To build up our equipment and tools to the standards of similar sized conference venues in the area. To be known and considered as a superior choice to potential customers both within the church and the community. Creating a friendly atmosphere in Street Café, for people to enjoy a chat with a friend over a cappuccino and slice of cake. To offer DSTV sport and Wi-Fi in the Street Café, and thus growing in our endeavours to create significant community.

Our Services

The hospitality ministry offers services from enquiry, to booking support, menu compilation and consultation and finally to event co-ordination and execution.
We have over 15 recurring bookings ranging from AA meetings to U3A meetings occurring weekly. More than 8 small groups meet at our church on a weekly basis to study the bible. While some of our external clients include MediClinic, McGillivray Training, Biblically Based Business – Cross Over Transformation and Global Business Round Table. We host a number of other churches on our premises including, Eagles Christian Church, Beit Yeshua and SA Gospel Church. The Alcoholics Anonymous and the South African Depression and Anxiety Association also meet at our church regularly to help those in need.

Our Facilities

Impressive space, outstanding facilities and a superb location are what make the Rosebank Union Church the ideal place for a conference or event. A variety of carpeted rooms are located on our first & second floor supported by our quaint & friendly Street Café Coffee bar and in-house catering service, offering a range of delicious treats; we are well known for our excellent cappuccino’s & cheese cake. Our in-house kitchen & catering staff offer a hassle free seamless service.

Each of our 10 rooms have individually controlled air-conditioning panels. Our Sanctuary can host up to 1100 people in elegant style, accommodating excellent visual and sound requirements, forming an impressive venue for corporate and ministry events.

The meeting rooms are set up with sound and visual equipment including, projectors, screens, amplifiers, DVD and CD players and microphones. Whiteboards and Flipcharts with markers are also available and included in the venue hire fee.
